I enjoyed this article. Maybe more visitors trust blogs over social networks, but social networks tend to be cheaper when it's purely measured by ad impressions - so can you get the same number of qualified leads with the same investment on both types of platforms because you'll get more volume on a social network? I guess it depends what network and what blog you're talking about, and what you're selling of course. But I think each platform has it's advantages.

I know a lot of blogs have tons of ads - shoemoney.com has 12 ads on his blog homepage (and it used to be worse!).

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Have you insight into any data such as attrition and ideal conversion paths from driving traffic from blogs or social networks?
